HID Remapper is a small adapter that goes between your USB input device and the computer. Swap mouse buttons, turn a key into a macro, change a gamepad layout, scale mouse movement or map a foot pedal to a shortcut. The computer sees an ordinary device, so it works on any OS and console, and you set it up in a web page in Chrome. Original project by jfedor2 on GitHub, MIT. Chipnik hosts the release binaries unchanged so you can flash them from the browser.

On a plain Pico the device plugs into a USB port wired to GP0 and GP1 through the PIO USB host; the README shows the wiring. A ready board with two USB ports also exists.

Firmware files come from the r2026-05-25 release.
