What you need

Board
Raspberry Pi Pico
Parts
2 × PS/2 connector or cable, Bidirectional level shifter 3.3 V to 5 V, USB OTG hub

ps2x2pico turns a Raspberry Pi Pico into an adapter from USB to PS/2. Plug a modern USB keyboard and mouse into the Pico and it speaks the PS/2 protocol to an old PC, a KVM switch or a retro board, with typematic repeat, LEDs and scroll wheel support. Original project by No0ne on GitHub, MIT. Chipnik hosts the release binaries unchanged so you can flash them from the browser.

The PS/2 lines are 5 V, so the README shows a level shifter between the Pico and the PS/2 connectors. The 100 Hz and 200 Hz builds in the release change the mouse sample rate.

Firmware files come from the 2.1 release.
