- Cheap Yellow Display
- Parts
- Nothing else, the board is enough
CYD Diagnostic Tool identifies unknown Cheap Yellow Display variants and checks every part of the board: screen colors and inversion, touch calibration, RGB LED, microSD card, light sensor and speaker output. At the end it prints a hardware report you can paste into a GitHub issue of any CYD project. Original project by HenrysCat on GitHub, MIT. Chipnik hosts the release binaries unchanged so you can flash them from the browser.
Flash it first when a new board arrives: it tells you which screen driver and variant to pick for other firmwares.
Firmware files come from the v1.1.0 release.
After flashing
- The board restarts by itself when flashing is done.
- If nothing happens, press the RST (EN) button once.
