CYD PhotoFrame turns the Cheap Yellow Display into a small digital photo frame. It plays a slideshow of JPEG pictures from the microSD card and can show the time. Over Wi-Fi you can upload new photos from your phone through the board's web page. Original project by Grey-Lancaster on GitHub, MIT. Chipnik hosts the release binaries unchanged so you can flash them from the browser.

Resize photos to 320x240 for the fastest slideshow. Wi-Fi is optional.

Firmware files come from the v4.7 release.

After flashing

  • The board restarts by itself when flashing is done.
  • If nothing happens, press the RST (EN) button once.
