    Checked

Chipnik stores the files of version 0.18.2, published November 5, 2026. The site signs each build, and the flasher compares every file with its checksum before writing it.

    Builds: ESP32 DevKit.

A moderator reviewed the project before its first publication, November 5, 2026.

Whether the device works after flashing: the flasher cannot see that.

Chipnik does not build the devices itself. It is the word of the people who did, with their photos.

ESP32 BLE2MQTT connects to Bluetooth Low Energy devices and exposes every GATT characteristic as an MQTT topic. Read a sensor, switch a BLE bulb or lock, and get notifications, all from Home Assistant, Node-RED or any MQTT client. It also forwards raw advertisements and supports beacons. Original project by shmuelzon on GitHub, MIT. Chipnik hosts the release binaries unchanged so you can flash them from the browser.

Settings are a config.json in the file system: your Wi-Fi, the MQTT broker and which devices to connect. The full image ships an example config; after flashing, upload yours over the built-in web page or rebuild the file system.

Firmware files come from the v0.18.2 release.

After flashing

  • The board restarts by itself when flashing is done.
  • The project needs Wi-Fi. How to connect it is in the project text or in the source repository.
  • If nothing happens, press the RST (EN) button once.
