What you need
- Board
- One of 5 boards: ESP32 DevKit, ESP32-S3 DevKit, ESP32-C3 SuperMini and 2 more
- Parts
- Addressable LED strip WS2812B or SK6812, 5 V power supply for the strip
- Also
- Wi-Fi network
Hyperk drives WS2812, SK6812 and other addressable LED strips and takes colors from HyperHDR over Wi-Fi with very low delay. Put the strip behind your TV or monitor and the wall glows with the colors on the screen. Setup happens on the board's own web page. Original project by awawa-dev on GitHub, MIT. Chipnik hosts the release binaries unchanged so you can flash them from the browser.
HyperHDR runs on your PC, Raspberry Pi or TV box and does the screen capture. The strip needs its own 5 V supply sized for its length.
Firmware files come from the 0.0.5 release.
