ESP32 CYD PDA is a handheld organizer inspired by Palm OS. The Cheap Yellow Display becomes a little computer with notes, a calendar, a calculator, a file manager and other small apps, all driven by the stylus or your finger. Files live in the internal flash and can be backed up to a microSD card. Original project by sau412 on GitHub, GPL-3.0. Chipnik hosts the release binaries unchanged so you can flash them from the browser.
No extra hardware is needed. A small speaker on the speaker connector adds beeps for events. New built-in apps are written in Arduino code; the README explains how.
Firmware files come from the v1.7 release.
After flashing
- The board restarts by itself when flashing is done.
- If nothing happens, press the RST (EN) button once.
