Smart Remote+ turns the yellow display into a Wi-Fi remote for LG webOS TVs. It knows whether the TV is in standby or off, controls volume and playback, switches inputs by the names you gave them and launches streaming apps from tiles. Pages and tiles are edited in the browser on the board's own web page. Original project by griches on GitHub, MIT. Chipnik hosts the release binaries unchanged so you can flash them from the browser.
The TV and the board must be on the same Wi-Fi network. Pair once with the PIN the TV shows; several TVs are supported.
Firmware files come from the v0.2.1 release.
After flashing
- The board restarts by itself when flashing is done.
- The project needs Wi-Fi. How to connect it is in the project text or in the source repository.
- If nothing happens, press the RST (EN) button once.
